About MDC

The MDC (Mint Directors Conference), held every two years, is the pre-eminent international event where mint directors, suppliers, retailers and other stakeholders, come together to exchange information and debate the development in and future of coins.

Founded in 1962, the 32nd MDC takes place in 2025 in  Cape Town , South Africa, hosted by the South African Mint.

As this event was originally postponed from 2020, if you had already registered and paid for your participation, your funds have been held in an escrow account. This registration will stand for the 2025 event, locking in the fee at the original rate for the conference. You can transfer your registration to anyone else within your organisation at no extra cost should you not be able to attend in April 2025.

If you had already registered but not yet paid, then your registration has been cancelled. Should you wish to attend the conference in 2025, we kindly request that you re-register for this event once the registration is open nearer the time.
